PURPOSE:

Ensure quality services for clients served. Provide case management and short-term individual and group counseling and advocacy services.

 

REPORTS TO:

Executive Director

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Provide short-term individual and group counseling for clients.
  2. Review cases for quality compliance following CTR guidelines for 80% quality assurance.
  3. Assist Director of Training and the Internship Specialist in the training and evaluation of interns to provide assistance to hotline clients (as assigned).
  4. Conduct community awareness/education presentations.
  5. Maintain evaluation measures and reports on program activities.
  6. Assist in quarterly intern meetings and volunteer training sessions (as assigned).
  7. Participate in hotline coverage, weekly case management, clinical supervision and program management meetings.
  8. Design and implement program development to enhance services.
  9. Actively participate in agency fundraising events twice a year.
  10. Participate in CTR’s self-care program.
  11. Any other related duties as assigned by Executive Director.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Master of social work or related field and/or equivalent experience in crisis counseling and case management. Three years’ experience in the provision of trauma services and program management experience required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Experience working with trauma survivors preferred.

PURPOSE:

Director of Helpline Services

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ensure effective response to crisis and information calls to clients.
  2. Review cases for quality compliance following CTR guidelines for 80% quality assurance.
  3. Provide emotional support, accompaniment and transportation for clients (as assigned).
  4. Participate in group counseling sessions (as assigned).
  5. Participate in case management, clinical in-services and program management.
  6. Assist in quarterly volunteer meetings and volunteer training sessions (as assigned).
  7. Provide outreach/networking to agencies (as assigned).
  8. Recommend program development to enhance services.
  9. Actively participate in agency fundraising events twice a year.
  10. Participate in CTR’s self-care program.
  11. Any other related duties as assigned by Director of Helpline Services.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, and/or equivalent experience in human services. Minimum of one-year post-internship (if appropriate) experience with crisis counseling and case management required. Vehicle required. Experience working with crime victims preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

  5. Assist Director of Training and the Internship Specialist in the training and evaluation of interns to provide assistance to helpline clients (as assigned).
