CTR's Vanessa Williams leads Project Worthmore participants in cat-cow yoga poses on yoga mats

CTR is honored to provide its Befriending the Body services to Project Worthmore clients. Through CTR’s Befriending the Body program, participants connect breath to movement and song in a way that promotes the same healing benefits as traditional yoga practice but that also fosters a joyful sense of community.  Adding dance to the weekly yoga practice offered at Project Worthmore helped to engage the participants, remove cultural barriers and forge a relationship between CTR staff and the refugees.
